Why did you choose Sicsoe Wine Logistics Solution as a service provider for your wines?
When we started in 2010, it was from scratch. We wanted to remain flexible by using a provider for the bottling and the winery. After a few months of research, Sicsoe emerged as an obvious choice, it seemed to be the only one able to provide visible signs of traceability, quality, rigor, methods, seriousness. We were 100% sure that our wines would be stored in impeccable conditions in view of our high-quality standard.
Another reason that is as important is the relational aspect. We had a very good contact with David Vidal and his team. As in all relationships, it is a matter of men and women, a personal matter. At Sicsoe, we found serious, professional, listening people who adapt and are responsive. And that’s priceless.
What services do you use at Sicsoe?
Around 60 to 70% of our wines go through Sicsoe. These are our most important wines (our varietal wines, our vins de France range, our appellation wines, the AOP and the vintage wines). At Sicsoe we leave all the winery parts, that is to say, the bulk storage, the wine preparation, the finalization of the assemblies and the ageing, the bottling, the labelling and a bit of the customization workshop. We also use some of the logistics for export.
We therefore need a provider that is up to the level of requirements we impose ourselves regarding our customers.
What makes you want to continue working with Sicsoe?
Every day we welcome the fact that we made this choice. Even though we surpassed million bottles last year, we will not invest in our own bottling tools, it does not make sense in the medium-term for a company like ours. We would rather delegate all the problems of standards, hygiene, regulations, etc. Thanks to Sicsoe we have flexibility, adaptability and a guarantee of seriousness.
